All CryoSure™ brand vials are recommended for storing
cell cultures, blood/serum specimens, sperm, and other biological
fluids at vaporphase* liquid nitrogen temperatures (-320°F/-195°C).
CryoSure™ vials are available in 0.4 ml round-bottom and freestanding,
as well as freestanding 1.0 ml, 1.5 ml, and 3.5 ml sizes.
The 0.4 ml sizes represent the smallest cryogenic vials available
and help to utilize valuable freezer space more efficiently.
The four freestanding sizes feature our unique octagonal
bases that lock into the specially designed CryoSure™ Processing
Tray for easy one-handed capping and uncapping. Conical/curved
bottoms ensure maximum sample retrieval.
Two new conical versions are featured below.
These are 1.0 ml & 1.5 ml conical.
All CryoSure™ vials are designed with external threads to
be less susceptible to aerosol contamination than internally
threaded vials.
The precise-fitting Acme threads are less likely to jump
and have smoother engagement than ordinary 60° threads.
The specailly selected copolymer is nearly transparent and
provides superior tensile strength and resistance to gamma
radiation sterilization.
The three lager size vials feature permanent molded-in marking
areas for labeling and specimen identification with volume
graduations distinctly molded every 0.5 ml. The two smaller
vials have molded-in fill lines at the 0.4 ml level.
Polyethylene screwcaps feature a molded-in sealing ring that
provides a leakproof closure without the use of a silicone
gasket. Caps fit all sizes of CryoSure™ vials and are available
in natural, green, red, blue, yellow, orange, and lavender.
Straight vertical inside walls with no shoulder result in
a large, accessible opening which makes processing and retrieval
of samples convenient.
Sterile vials with caps are packaged in 100- or 500-count
quantities. Non-sterile vials with caps are packaged in 100-
or 1000- count quantities. Non-sterile bulk vials without
caps and seven colors of caps in 200- count quantities are
available to facilitate color-coded processing and storage.
*Evergreen does not recommend the use of screwcap
vials, including CryoSure™ vials, for immersion in liquid nitrogen
or other liquified gases. Immersion in liquid nitrogen may
cause leakage in the CryoSure™ vials and also presents the
potential danger of rapid pressure buildup and/or explosion
with returned to room temperature. Please use CryoSure vials
in the Vapor-phase only.

Two new versions of cryogenic vials
are introduced by Evergeen. these are 1.0 ml & 1.5
ml conical.
These vials have the same external thread, same ultra-clear
polypropylene material, same large openings and the
same color-coded leakproof-screwcaps as the rest of
the CryoSure™ brand cryogenic vials. Same convenient
package too. for processing & storage, we offer
a number of microcentrifuge tube racks and a new 81-well
cryogenic vial freezer strage box listed below.
