These dual purpose slide storage/mailing boxes are made of a styrenic thermoplastic material for flatness and durability. They are easy to open and close. The lid has a frosted area for marking and the floor of the box has a molded centerline numerical ID with the rest of the floor lined with cork for slide protection.

These slide boxes are available in five colors: blue, green, red, white, and yellow. The availability of the different colors can be adapted to the color code microscope slide storage archive systems.

Since these lightweight slide boxes weigh only 55 grams (less than 2 ounces), they are ideal for mailing slides for lower mailing costs. These boxes are packed 20 pieces per chipboard package, 200 pieces per carton.
