Evergreen offers two types of polycarbonate freezer boxes for storage of cryogenic vials. One has a grid-type rack and holds 81 vials. The second has posts separating the vials and holds 100 vials. The external footprints of the two types are identical. Transparent polycarbonate covers allow the contents of each rack to be easily seen.Polycarbonate is an engineering thermoplastic with exceptional strength. The operating temperature range is from -190°C to +120°C. These boxes are autoclavable.

Design features of these boxes include positive numeric identification, stackability, 45° NW and NE corners for orientation and alignment, corner tab for positive opening assistance, air vent holes, drain slots, and generous writing surfaces. The boxes are color coded for improved cryogenic vial storage management.

 
The 9 x 9 configuration of this grid-type box accommodates 81 cryogenic vials. The box height is sufficient for vials of 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0 ml capacity.

Cryo 25 cardboard freezer boxes are intended for 2.5 ml CryoSure® large I.D. vials. These boxes come with lateral slots for rapid cooling. Each box holds 25 vials. The partitions are made of 0.024" thick poly-coated SBS board.

Exterior dimensions are 5 1/4" x 5 1/4" x 1 1/4".

LOCKABLE AND TAMPER-EVIDENT

This storage box holds up to 96 cryogenic vials in an 8 x 12 configuration. It is constructed of polypropylene with a living hinge and a polyurethane foam insert.

Once closed, the tamper-evident lock must be broken to regain access to the box contents.

STACKABLE AND AUTOCLAVABLE

This polypropylene processing tray holds 50 small-diameter CryoSure® cryogenic vials in a 5 x 10 configuration. Vial positions are alphanumerically labeled. The wells are octagonally shaped and designed to lock onto the bases of free-standing CryoSure vials and prevent vial rotation in order to permit one-hand processing. Color: yellow
