    Five versions.

    MST™ microscrewcap tubes are available in 0.5 ml freestanding, 1.5 ml conical and freestanding and 2.0 ml conical and freestanding. All MST™ brand microscrewcaps tubes are recommended for storing blood/serum samples, cell cultures, sperm and other biological specimens at vapor phase* liquid nitrogen temperatures (-320˚F/-195˚C).

    External threads.

    By using external threads, all MST™ microscrewcap tubes are designed to be less susceptible to aerosol contamination than internal threaded vials.

    Ultra-clear polypropylene material.

    The polypropylene copolymer used in molding MST™ tubes is nearly transparent and virtually haze free. It is selected for its superior tensile strength and its resistance to gamma radiation sterilization.

    Graduated, non-graduated, sterile, non-sterile, cap, no cap.

    Non-sterile MST™ tubes without caps are available in quantities of 1000. Non-sterile MST™ tubes with caps unassembled are available in 200 or 1000 count quantities. Sterile tubes with caps are packaged in 500 count quantities. All MST™ brand caps are available in 200 count quantities in eight colors to facilitate color-coded processing or storage.

    *Evergreen does not recommend the use of MST™ microscrewcap tubes for immersion in liquid nitrogen or any other liquified gases. Immersion in liquid nitrogen may cause potential leakage in MST™ tubes with the subsequent danger of rapid pressure build-up and/or explosion when returned to room temperature. Please use MST™ microscrewcap tubes in the vapor-phase only.
