    Embedding rings.

    Embedding rings are for use in positioning histological tissues accurately in base molds.

    The rings are compatible with most commonly-used processing and storage systems. Rings are precision-molded from premium-grade, chemically-inert, high-impact polystyrene for dimensional rigidity and sturdiness.

    A treated sample is placed in the mold, the embedding ring is placed into position, and the embedding medium is poured. An etched labeling area is molded-in to ensure proper identification. Available in five colors.

    Processing/Embedding cassettes.

    For use in holding tissue specimen during embedding, processing, sectioning, and storage.

    Cassettes are used in conjunction with conventional stainless steel covers. High-density material helps prevent floating and is resistant to most histological solvents. Efficient flow-through holes maximize fluid exchange and provide proper drainage. Etched labeling areas are molded in.
