    Tissue culture treated plates.

    Evergreen offers tissue culture treated microplates for animal & plant cell tissue-culture studies. Tissue-culture treated plates provide uniform and compatible surfaces for animal cell attachment and growth. The untreated plates are appropriate for use in many plant cell culture studies where cell attachment is not required.

    Quality construction.

    Each well has a raised rim to minimize cross-contamination. Extra distinct alpha-numeric designations identify each well for quick sample location. One-way fitting lids reduce excess evaporation and raised rings inside help to minimize condensation.

    6-well, 12-well, 24-well & 96-well.

    6-well, 12-well and 24-well plates are available with flat well bottoms in individually packed units that are gamma-irradiated for sterility. 96-well plates are available with flat (F), conical (V), round (U) and chamfered corner (C) well bottoms in individually-packed units that are gamma-irradiated for sterility.

    The well volume of the microplates is as follows:
    6-well - 17.7ml
    12-well - 6.76ml
    24-well - 3.5ml
    96-well - 0.30-0.37ml

    The surface area of each of the microplates is as follows:
    6-well - 9.61cm2
    12-well - 3.7cm2
    24-well - 2.0cm2
    96-well - 1.04cm2
