Polystyrene
funnels are appropriate for use with mild acidic or alkali
solutions, with polypropylene funnels for use with organic
solvents and stronger acids & alkalis. Funnels measure
approximately 60 mm(2½") wide at the top and taper
60°. Internal ribs promote faster flow, and external
ribs help prevent airlock. New material specifications now
include up to 50% reused plastic.
