AeroPure™ pipet tips have hydrophobic filters between
the sample and pipet shaft. These filters from a barrier that
traps and prevents aerosol from reaching the shaft yet does
not impede air flow. Particularly useful for eliminating false
positives for PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) work, loading
nucleic acids/proteins and handling radioactive/infectious
specimens.
AeroPure™ pipet tips are available for all sized of
Rainin/Gilson Pipetman pipettes. Tips also fit other brands
of pipettors.
Tips are packaged in ten non autoclavable 8x12 configuration
decks and gamma irradiated for sterility.
