Tubes-R-Us™ brand test tubes are precision
molded from premium-grade plastics are ideal for routine laboratory
analyses and procedures.
Polystyrene tubes provide clarity and are appropriate for
use with mild acidic (except oxidizing acids) or alkali solutions,
alcohols (except higher alcohols) and salt. Polypropylene
tubes are more chemically resistant and are appropriate for
use with organic solvents and stronger acids (except oxidizing
acids) & alkalis, alcohols, chlorinated & aromatic
hydrocarbons (except xylene) and ketones.
Evergreen offers more sizes of tubes than any other manufacturer.
Tubes are bulk packed, non-sterile, without caps (except for
tubes with screw caps). Stopper caps and sterile tubes are
also available.
Internally ribbed 12x75 mm tubes are ideal for use in antibody
coating and/or protein adsorptions. Six slanted ribs increase
surface area. Polystyrene material contains fewer lubricants
and additives.
